What are the recommended feeding instructions for the Protein-Packed Dog Treat Bar?

Is Bond’s nutritional yeast a safe ingredient for my dog?

Nutritional yeast is an excellent source of protein for dogs. Ours has been fully evaluated for its digestibility, palatability and performance, and meets AAFCO standards.

Do you ship to addresses outside of the U.S.?

We’re currently only shipping products in the contiguous U.S., but will expand to all U.S. states and territories, Canada, the EU, Asia, EMEA and other markets in the months ahead.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Our primary packaging (reclosable box) is made with a cardstock that’s 100% recyclable. In order to effectively protect the product and maintain its freshness, the lightweight inner wrapper that we’re currently using is not recyclable or compostable, but we’re testing a variety of materials for future production runs.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we offer a 100% money back guarantee. Details here.

Will you offer both dog and cat food products in the future?

Yes! We’re starting with dog treats and foods, but cat food products are also in the works.

What is microbial fermentation?

Microbial fermentation is a technology that has been used to safely and effectively produce hundreds of food ingredients for decades. Working with microbes like yeast and a feedstock of simple sugars, salts, vitamins and minerals, this “brewing” technology is able to produce everything from pure nutritional yeast (like the protein in our Protein-Packed Dog Treat Bar), to more ambitious ingredients like enzymes that are necessary for cheese manufacture, to our future meat proteins. Click here for more information on the basic process.

Why not just use conventional meat proteins in your pet food?

Meat is a beautiful thing for dogs and cats. It gives them all of the essential amino acids to thrive, and it’s highly digestible and bioavailable.

With that it’s no surprise that the amount of meat that our pets eat isn’t trivial. If the dogs and cats in the U.S. alone were their own country, their consumption of meat products would rank fifth in the world.

Yet the production of meat comes with a host of environmental, safety and animal welfare challenges to satiate this demand.

Through microbial fermentation, there’s a better way to create proteins and complete foods that perform just the same- or better- without the downsides. So people, pets, farm animals and the planet all win.

Who is supporting your work and efforts?
